I love this app plz get it I read one of the books and fell in love plus I get to read a book without actually opening a real book plus this helps us at school tricking the teacher is SUU much fun anyways thx bye

I was forced

Im teacher told me to Im sorry

Clumsy and not user friendly

App will not shift to accommodate viewing. A piece of technical crap. Every other mobile app gets what the job is. The biggest library in the best city in the world is failing.

Blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh p.s. This game is

Worst thing ever it will not let me sigh in when I have a account

Best app ever!

This app is the best!

...

I really like open ebooks but whenever I download a story it cuts off half of the chapter....

Alright

There are major bugs like the page flip animation freezes but I do get free books so.... it kind of evens out

Slow!

Loads very slowly! Each page takes over 30 seconds to display- way too long for a 3 year old attention span.

Awful

I know a lot of kids in elementary school like Junie B. Jones books and apparently they dont have, and also if they have chapter books then they should have the Harry Potter series. By far the worst book app ever. Might as well go to Audible.com and read or listen to any book you want.

Nice variety. Cumbersome to find books at right level.

Good selection of titles. Easy to use. Tough to gauge reading level of the books from their very broad descriptions (i.e. "Age 7-9"). Including AR reading levels (and adding it as a search feature) would be hugely helpful.

Not accessible for certain students with disabilities

The premise of the app is brilliant- there are a wealth of books for students to select. Its nice that you can adjust the font and brightness, however it would be nice to see embedded text to speech, or allow for the iOS speech function to work in the app.

Disappointing

Yes, you do get tons of free books, but it doesnt have any good books like for example: - Five nights at Freddys the silver eyes - Diary of a wimpy kid - Harry Potter - Star Wars - Also books I need for school They dont have any of the books listed above. This app barely has any books. Dont waste your time on this app.

Searching

I wish you could search/browse by grade level. My first graders have different needs than my fifth graders. Or if the grade levels were more obvious from the catalog, that would be helpful. Unless I know exactly what I want its very hard to find the right book for the right age on this app!

Thanks Obama!

This is a great affordable(free besides the price of the phone and service) way to get books into childrens lives) its been shown that when children have books available to them they do better in school, could use a bit of touching up but Ive had experience trying to find books like these for free and have had no such luck and that alone in of itself makes me give it five stars

Not very useful

Its not only really bare bones (lacks basic features in most e-book apps), but the first 2 e-books I opened didn’t work …ugh

Meh

The welcome page isnt very "welcoming" using patronizing words like "children", "low-income", and "in need". There are no graphic novels or manga, which are both genres most of the teens at our library enjoy reading online. The 8week loan period is generous, and the font customization isnt bad.

When it works, its awesome!!

I had high hopes for this app. But, the app has crashed many times when trying to open a book!! My fingers remain crossed, hoping for the best!! Please fix the issues, this is a great opportunity to offer books to the students in my district!!

Not bad

Has a good collection of books. Would be nice to have categories for detailed when searching for books, also add feature to keep our own list of favorite books.

I expected books about Es

I downloaded this app expecting to have books about E. I ended up with a disappointment to find out that there are just random books.
